Science World – interactive indoor and outdoor displays, free shows in the Science Theatre

UBC and Vandusen Botanical Gardens – collections of magnolias and maples, Asian garden with over 400 kinds of rhododendrons, alpine garden, rainforest garden, herbs, a food garden and gift shop 

 

The west side has large older, heritage and high-end detached homes.

South Section has family-oriented houses with backyards and rental units.

Central Section (Downtown)  has many high-rise and low-rise Condos, lofts, townhouses and apartments.

East Van has a mix of older and newer houses. This area attracts the younger renters for the culture, community and affordability.
